:: How to reason: WHY
As you may or may not know, I have a horrendous tendancy to make shrines to
things I'm obsessed about. Although all of them have somewhat died due to
an overload of information and newfound disgust as to how I assumed that I
had decent content from 2003 X_x [I have improved slightly ever since, if
improved at all]. I do love all my shrines, but it's just too difficult to
take care of all of them. [It's to the extent that I won't give you the links
of my previous shrinages X_x... although some were actually 'popular']
Then am I implying that I will ditch this site? Not necessarily.
I made it small and compatible enough, so it would be easy to manage if
needed. Will I update a lot? Probably not. Unless I found a nice new link
to add or some crazy ludicrous information to spam. I have other priorities
to neglect, y'know?
I'm amazed that I actually had the will to make this shrine O_o...
Although Death Note is one of the notable series that are worth
watching/reading in quite a while [is ever so slowly buying all the
volumes ^.^Y]. And what better way to rant, spam and boast about your
moral standings and philosophical outlook!
{But *le gasp*, D34TH N0t3, is lyk, s00 0ver4teddd! I know, shut up
=P But I actually like the series for what it is. Not if people like it or
not >_>;;... people should learn that these days. Well, those with a brain
at least.}
Then, Why call it devotion? Simple, because they are 120% devoted to
their cause; whether it's to pass judgement and justice, to reclaim justice
or plain admiration, they all have a motivation, a drive to
do what they do, and it is what they risk their lives for. Then why not call
it 'Motivation'? No... just, no...
Why these 3 characters in specific? At one point, these 3 were friends
O_O... or at least it looked like it, with the help of deception and/or
amnesia, of course. But it also gave me some new sappy insight of the series
that I so blindly make up in my head. Even if it only stayed around 2 1/2
volumes or so, I found the relationship of the three quite memorable, not
to mention adorable. Come on, the Yotsuba arc was fun! You get:
Bourgeois crazy businessmen to catch (this is for you Light haters, you'll see a good side of him).
Many funny moments... look how goofy they act together o_o
The privelege to see L and Light showing off their kung-fu moves, and beating the living garbage out of eachother.
MISA KISSING L?!!! *le gasp*
Misa still maintaining purpose! [catching third Kira, much?]
L in other clothes for the first time ever, zomfgwtfbbq!11
L flying helicopters!
A crazy 24-esque scene of catching the third Kira.
And much, much more.
I know, I'm a sucker for this type of stuff. But seriously, it was like a
"Super-Duper Best friends" investigation team or something. You'd think that
it would make such a serious series like this look stupid, but nope, it shows
that Death Note can be diverse, and can pull it off smoothly. Or at least
that's how I see it. =)
Then what about Near or Mello? Don't get me wrong, I love them to
death. So, 'we shall see..' Matt fan? Yes please. I would
even make up a chapter for him if I've ever had the time. How on earth do
people grasp the concept of Matt also being so loveable? Quirks, my
children, it's the quirks... and deaths =\ and the love triangle between
Mello and Near. =P
...
And yes, I really did draw the trio for my layout.
And yes, I do like to draw chibis. And yes,
I know Light looks the most messed tied with L, not to mention, Misa =_=
The Wammy kids also deserve love as well. Spam fanarts below;
I'm a devart fiend and fanart whore, yesiree =X
